How do I make money?

A video will generate advertising revenue if either 30 seconds of an ad is viewed, or if a banner ad is clicked on. YouTube calculates how much your earnings are each month. On average, a channel must generate $100 within that month before YouTube pays a channel. You take up to 70% fee when a channel earns revenue.

YouTube calculates your channel’s earnings using factors such as how many views were generated, what type of ad was shown and where your video was watched. Inside your channel is a page called Analytics where you can track your earnings.

Yes. OnAir.FM gets you the money your music is making on YouTube.

Can I make money when my video is shown on other channels?

Yes, through Google's Content ID system. As long as you own the rights to the recording and/or composition. YouTube creates digital fingerprints of your music which it uses to find out who else is using your music. You supply us with your .mp3s and we make sure your music is protected and you collect your money.

How can I have my song featured on your Facebook page?

Sharing your content on Facebook is crucial. The more content you create and share, the more content we can spread in return. You can also send your video links to us via Facebook Messages. Otherwise you can e-mail them to support@onair.fm.

How and how often do I get paid?

YouTube pays out one month behind. So if your channel earns the minimum $100 in August, you will be paid the first week of October.
